Deep in a green oasis between the confluence of 2 prealpine streams and only 10 Km far from the MAGGIORE lake and 15 km far from LUGANO (CH) stands a 19°-century mill.
The architect has made the mill as his own house and his carpenter studio.
It was completely restored with love and competence respecting the native architectural typology, using mainly local materials and observing the art.
This is an important estate, which is about 1.000 smq of covered building on a woodland of approximately 10.000 smq straight on the bank of the same streams that in the past has fed the extant mill.
This is an out-of-time construction, which is fitted in a natural context more and more unusual and difficult to find nowadays. |
